I was asked to do a sweet cart at Shepwells for a Christening today. I don’t usually do single item hire as it’s not cost effective. But Shepwells is very local to me, so figured why not.
Im glad I did though, as Shepwells is a hidden gem of a venue, with a large stage, mezzanine floor, large bar area and makes a perfect live music venue. It’s so deceptive from the road frontage, as you just don’t realise how big a venue and how nice a space this is.
It’s perfect for live music and holding parties and events.
As mentioned I was there today doing a sweet cart hire, and I used my brand new red & white stripey roof, which I made last week. Traditionally I’ve only had a white roof for weddings, which gets used for all events. But figured I needed something a little different for kids birthday parties and other events, so I chose a traditional red & white stripe material to make a new roof.
I also might make a blue & white and a pink & white one, if anybody needs one for their next event, let me know. Im always looking for ways to improve my sweet cart and all other hire items. So if you have a suggestion, send me a message.
