Is your equipment PAT tested ?

Yes all our equipment is PAT tested on a  yearly basis. Although not a legal requirement we understand many venues wish to see PAT test certificates, if your venue wishes to see one, this is not a problem we can email your our PAT test certificate upon completion of your booking.

 

Are you Insured ?

Yes we carry £5 million public liability insurance.

 

What is your hire period ?

All our equipment is rented out on an overnight basis. We are flexible in our time frames depending on other bookings, and will always work with our clients for setting up and collection times of our equipment. However we do generally like to collect equipment as early as possible, so they can be cleaned and prepped ready for our next days rental.

 

What if i want my equipment for a longer hire period ?

We hire out our equipment for all time frames at competitive prices. If you would like to hire our equipment for longer periods, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

How long does it take to set up ?

For our giant light up numbers & letters it is just a matter of carrying them to their destination and running a cable to light them up. This should take no longer than 15 minutes for 2x items. For our backdrops, balloon arches and other decor it can take up to 2 hours from arrival to complete set up.

 

Do you take a deposit ?

Yes, for number lights, we take just a £20 non-refundable deposit. For larger set ups £180+ we take a £50, non-refundable deposit, which secures your rental date. This means our equipment will be allocated to you for that specific date. The remainder of the payment must be paid within 7 working days of the rental date.

 

What happens if the equipment gets lost or damaged ?

It is the responsibility of the hirer to pay for any loss or damage that may occur during their rental period. Please see our full Terms & Conditions of hire.

 

What happens if i do not pay the full price within 7 days ?

If payment is not received within 7 working days of your rental day, the date will become available for new potential customers to hire the equipment and your deposit will be forfeited. However don’t worry we do send out reminders for payment.

 

Can i affix any other decorations to your equipment ?

In order to keep our equipment in the best condition for the longest time, we do not allow customers to use any additional fixtures or fittings, including the use of screws, pins, blue tack, sellotape etc, as these all cause damage in one way or another.

There are “D” ring fixing anchors on the back of our light up numbers should u wish to fix your own balloons too them.
