I had the pleasure of doing a beach theme today for the lovely Jade & kate to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

Jade messaged me with the idea of doing a beach theme and originally asked for a simple sailboard welcome sign and a set of number 10 lights.

Whilst following me on facebook, she saw more of my work and decided she wanted more items. So we kept the original sailboard, and expanded with a few balloons up the side. Jade then switched out the number 10 lights and decided on J&K in light up letters instead, for their initials.

And then a few days later she added a shimmer wall display for the main hall. The only thing that didn’t increase was my timeframe to set up, which was 1hr30 mins. Argh!.

Honestly guys, 1hr 30mins is not enough time to do a full shimmer wall really. Even though I blew all the balloons up at home, it’s still very tight time frame. It takes 20 minutes to carry all the stuff up.

I did however manage to get in the venue, which was the Wolverhampton Cricket Club, 35 minutes early, as I just had too. So I just turned up and blagged my way in.. lol. I had to I needed the extra time.

Any way, with lots or pre-preparation, and racing like a mad man, I managed to finish with 9 minutes to spare. Just enough time to take some pictures of my balloon displays.

So if you’re having an anniversary party, birthday party or corporate event, and would like similar kind of décor, get in touch today.
