Where do i start ? A good sized corporate event saw me at the Belfrey Resort & Hotel in Birmingham for Asset Finance Solutions annual meet the funder.
This wasn’t just your standard balloons either, with full custom designs and bespoke decor.
First was the giant 2.7m tall “A” frame to tie in with the companies corporate logo. This was 2.7m tall x 1.7m wide at the base, made by myself out of copper pipe on a set of our inhouse custom metal bases. We also provided custom printed board promoting the company hashtag #AFSMTF23.
Next up was the central column which needed decorating, as it was a little unpleasant to look at. After much deliberation and testing i decided to go with the wrap around Brazilian technique of ballooning. This allows me to wrap pretty much any object in balloons in swirl pattern, with the addition of silver balloons to give that swirl effect.
Next up was the custom printed Asset Finance Banner which required a full balloon garland with custom printed “WINNERS” board ready for photo oportunities. In conjunction with their orange corporate colours, i added a few silver accent balloons to make it stand out and create the perfect backdrop for corporate photos.
Not only did i create and provide 3x large balloon displays, i also supplied and installed a set of our light up letters spelling #AFSMTF23 which stood proudly in the main foyer, showcasing the company hashtag to be used to promote thir fund raising event.
All in all it was a good few days work, with 2 very late night finishes (1:30am & 3:30am), but the overall job looked very effective and done to a very high standard. The client was very happy with it, and that’s all that counts.
