Busy day today out and about, with a bit of drama thrown in.

First job of the day had me up at 5:30 am to do 40x helium balloons for Vistry LTD, who were opening new head offices in Wolverhampton. With 4x lots of 10 helium balloon clusters and 2x doorway columns to add a bit of décor to their new office space.

Also perfect for their ribbon cutting ceremony as they were going to tie a bit of ribbon around the two columns for photo opportunity.

I quite like doing corporate balloons, it’s always a little different from the normal day to day ballooning.

All was going well. My second job of the day over at Cagney’s Bar & Grill in West Bromwich, which was a classic half arch and number 40 lights in cream, gold & sage colours, such a beautiful color combination. All went perfectly smooth, until my 3rd job of the day.

My 3rd job saw me at Rushall Labour club, where upon my van engine management light decided to come on and scare me half to death. As looking down at my dashboard and seeing warning signs is never a good thing.

However once at Rushall labour club, I started to unload my van and suddenly realised id left behind one of the most import part of my kit. My pipe and drape set which I hang my shimmer wall off. Aargh panic, and a little bit of swearing saw me jump back in my van and race home, a 1hr round trip, to grab my stand.

Thankfully I had plenty of time to do the shimmer wall display, and the client was non the wiser. Although id rather of had it on the van the first time. Mistakes happen people, im only human, and 99% of the time have a million things going round my head, reminders of things to do, fetch, order etc.

All in all, I’ve had a busy day, and it’s not over yet, got collections starting at 11:30pm til about 12:30am, fun, fun fun.
