Lots happening today at Davenport house, including more wind trouble with the half arches. This wasn’t supposed to be an outdoor set up, it just became one about 2 days before the wedding, (thanks Julie.. lol).

So I believe the original plan was for an all indoor set up, but due to the nice weather it got changed to an outdoor wedding. Outdoor weddings are just not good for setting up, if it’s not the rain, then it’s the wind and believe me, the wind is worse than the rain. You can mitigate the rain, using covers but the wind is just a no go.

So again the wind was blowing a bit in the garden, and had i had no way of pegging my half arches down, because I don’t do outdoor set ups – theyre too stressful. Thankfully Joe the owner of the beautiful Davenport House came to my rescue with a set of croquet wickets and a wooden mallet. Managed to hammer them onto the corners of the base plates of my half arches, and thankfully they stayed up. At least whilst i was there.. Very last time im doing an outdoor wedding folks. The weather is too unforgiving.

So white rose half arches out in the garden along with a set of LOVE letters for the BBQ area welcoming guests. Julie also had a set of white blossom trees and white pedestals for the front entrance, which against the backdrop of the beautiful Davenport house really made them stand out.

I also supplied my white rose heart for a backdrop for the photobooth, as well as the sweet cart complete with jars, bags and tongues.

Julie also had me supply the centrepieces which were all 10x of my green & white blossom trees, although they’re not quite blossom trees, but I don’t know what else to call them. Green & White rose trees!. They were supplied for the table centrepieces and looked fabulous with full table dressing.

Also check out the helicopter which was to give the bride and groom a tour of Shropshire after the ceremony. What a way to celebrate your big day!. Also check out the magnificent wedding car. I dread to think how much it costs to hire as it cost four million to buy. Yes £4,000,000 !!. Wowzers. I didn’t so much as breathe on it.. lol

Hope you have a wonderful day Julie, and enjoy your helicopter ride, im sure it will be fab xx
