It was an absolute pleasure to be chosen to do the 20 year anniversary and relaunch party for Grosvenor casino stoke today. With a full casino floor to decorate and everything in between, it’s been a long 2 days, with a whole 10hrs or so yesterday prepping nearly 1000+ balloons. I would of done more, but couldn’t fit anymore on my van, lol.
But 2 days later, I think the results speak for themselves. With balloon towers, balloon clusters, balloon arch and two main focal point displays with a casino related theme.
Thank you to Michelle the manager at the Grosvenor Stoke for trusting the process x.
Grosvenor Casino Balloon Decorations
2x balloon towers for the main entrance in to the casino with “Grosvenor Casino Stoke” in vinyl writing. There are 3x balloon towers altogether, witht he 3rd by the buffet, to add a bit of decor to a blank space.

In order to bring more decor to the room and make it feel a bit more special, i added balloon clusters to the tops of the camera towers, mainly just so it didn’t feel like the central pits had been left out.

Next job was to fit a balloon arch between the two main pillars by the bar. The ceiling height was a bit of a challenge as my balloon arch was too tall. So i had to think quick and decided best course of action was to cut off just over 1ft of my balloon arch in order to make it fit. Which is no problem, these things happen.
I also added clusters to the top and bottom of each hand rail, about 8x in total.

Next stop was the main welcome display and photo opportunity display. This is my first time using the gold frames, which are really quite pretty. A lovely shiny gold colour working well against my gold shimmer wall and tying in with the gold balloons.
It was a long process, and it looked really good before i added the casino related paraphernalia. But i had a theme to work too and casino was the theme, so i added foil dice and casino playing cards in to the mix.
I think it turned out really well.

Last but not least was the second large display of the day. Which was to be by the seating area where an Elton John tribute band is to be playing.
Again a full balloon display with casino related theme. It’s just a shame the lighting was a little dark in this corner of the casino and i struggled to get a good clear picture.

And that folks was my Friday and Saturday. Nearly 2000 balloons in total, decorating a full casino floor for Grosvenor casino in Stoke. Really happy with the outcome, i think it all looked super amazing. I mean i may be a bit biased because i done the work. But i think it all looked really good.
