My first ever jungle theme display today for little Benjamin Lee’s 1st birthday party at Birchalls Liberal club in Walsall.

From memory I don’t believe ive done a jungle, safari type theme yet, and had to buy some stuffed animals especially for todays job. But I think it was well worth it for the final result.

With Gemar gold, Sempertex Eucalytpus (green), classic white, Gemar latte and a bit of soft orange to give it a pop of colour.

Id also never done a balloon hoop where you stretch the balloons from one side to the other across the frame, so two new adventures today. But like most things in life, if you master the basics and your foundations are good, you can do anything.

I do see a lot of balloon girls on facebook and instagram who haven’t been on a balloon course to master the foundations of balloon building, and i think it shows in their work. Not to be mean, or unkind, but i, and others can spot it a mile off. It just looks like clumps of balloons stuck together, rather than visually pleasing to the eye.

But i digress, im not here to slate other peoples work, only to showcase my own. And i think my first ever jungle/Safari theme turned out rather lovely.

If you have a birthday coming up and would like some balloon decorations, with or without a specific theme. Get in touch today.
