This was kind of a short notice wedding proposal this Sunday for Kojo, with only 2 weeks notice and I did question if I wanted to do it, as i had two other jobs on today.
But as with anything in life, preparation and planning is key. So Kojo contacted me 2 weeks ago with his idea to propose to his lady, and he wanted the full works. With large red rose heart, will you marry me sign, red carpet with red rose runners and candles etc.
After working out my timescale for my other jobs, I happily agreed as its been a while since ive done a marriage proposal, so really wanted to do another one.
This was at the Best Western Valley Hotel, and can I just say, not only is it a lovely old established hotel. The staff “especially Lee” was an absolute hero. He provided me with loads of candles without even being asked really. He just set about helping me out, which is probably the first time in 3 years of doing this, that a member of staff has decided off their own back to help. So the guy is a hero, and absolute gent – Thanks Lee!.
So with full red carpet runner, red rose aisle runners, faux rose petals and plenty of other flowers and candles, Kojo has popped the question today. I’ve no idea if she’s said yes, as I’ve not been back to collect. But in all honesty, how can she say no with a wedding proposal display like this !!
