What can i say about Saturday! I was asked to do a pink & gold themed display for Twinkle Toes Dance Academy for the lovely Katie. Even the name “Twinkle toes” – i just love it, it’s the perfect name for little twinkle toe dancers.
With pink & gold in mind, i set out to make it bright & colourful display, set against our gold shimmer curtain with twinkle background lights. Using Sempertex Pastel pink, Gemar Rose Pink & Gemar Shiny Gold, with plenty of mini clusters and a few over-sized 19″ balloons i think i pulled it off pretty good.
And although Katie said she hated surprises, i think she was pleased with her surprise gold acrylic disc sign that i made to complete the look, reading: “CONGRATULATIONS, Twinkle Toes 10 years of being totally awesome”.
And that’s what Saturday was, totally awesome. Thank you for choosing me to do your display to celebrate your 10 year dance academy anniversary.
